Academic Leaders Network

The ACC Academic Leaders Network seeks to build upon existing campus programs and capitalize on networking and collaborative opportunities in ways that no single university can accomplish on its own. This program provides leadership competency development for faculty who have already gained some experience in academic leadership roles  (e.g. Department Chairs or Heads, Assistant or Associate Deans, and Assistant or Associate Provosts). The program consists of three 2-day sessions over the course of the academic year, each hosted at a different hosting university campus.

More detail is provided in the Program Overview, the Participant Selection Guidelines, and Host Campus Information.  Questions relating to a specific campus are best addressed by the campus liaison. Coordinating the program is an executive committee of liaisons, chaired by Amy Hogan from Virginia Tech.
